For the less experienced riders we offer lessons at Penewin Stables that will suit all abilities, from those who have owned and looked after their own horses in the past and need a bit of a refresher to those who have never sat on a horse in their life and need to be taught from the very beginning. No matter what your experience level you will not be the only one at your level.
At the beginning of the year we organise a day where you guys all get your free ride so that we can take a look at your riding and place you in to groups with others that have similar abilities to you, this will mean that you can all learn at a similar pace and enjoy yourselves. The teaching at Penewin is very good and all the instructors have a great deal of experience which includes helping people from all ability levels extend their capabilities, they are also extremely friendly and happy to help.
During the course of the year we will hold many activities which are usually subsidised by the club so that you guys can have a laugh without it costing the earth! Penewin always holds are annual Christmas super horse day, this is aimed at the lessons riders from Penewin but is usually so much fun that everyone wants a piece of the action. The day usually involves various fun horseback/Gymkhana activities, Fancy Dress as well as other great activities that will be sorted closer to the day. As if that wasn’t enough we hold gymkhanas throughout the year which are always a great laugh, Clear round jumping evenings, Justin Tuff (Show Jumping) clinics to name but a few! As well as lessons the stables also offer fantastic hacking in the local countryside which is fantastic on a warm summers day.
