After the amazing success from introducing polo to the University of Plymouth last year, it is the clubs aim to continue to make this aspect of the club bigger and better! Last year saw around 15 members regularly travel up to Vaux park in Summerset to train and play practice chukkas. The arena game is played in the winter and the grass game in the summer.
This year we aim to expand the polo aspect of the club, it is the aim to enter a team into the SUPA polo national championships in February; we hope to do well in this event allowing Plymouth to be recognised as a real polo force. There are also plans to invite other Universities to Vaux park for matches and a Plymouth cup which will take place next summer.

We train on Friday afternoons, the training consists of stick and ball practice followed by a practice chukka. Trials will take place for teams at the end of November allowing time for more practice as a team before the SUPA nationals that take place in February.
